Pam Davis from Orange Pet Dog Training will help owners and their dogs with training for basic manners in puppy classes through to adult classes and problem solving for behaviours not wanted in the home environment such as barking, digging, etc.
Classes also promote responsible pet ownership including health requirements, current laws regarding dogs through to suitable equipment and toys and ideas for keeping puppies and dogs entertained when home alone.
Pam has owned dogs her entire life growing up on a property near Cooma and over the past ten years has been very involved in assisting to now instructing in both class and private consultations in dog training.
Pam is currently completing her Certificate IV in Companion Animal Services, is a member of Australian Pet Dog Trainers Association and has been involved with Delta Dog Therapy Program with her dog Babe for the past eight years and now Bono is beginning his career with Delta Dog Therapy.
She volunteered for the SPOT (safe pets out there) program for the two years attending local schools teaching infant children how to be safe around dogs, as well as caring for all animals.
Pam is a satellite trainer for Assistance Dogs Australia having been involved in training inmates to train puppies as well as community puppy raisers and continuing to promote Assistance Dogs along with fundraising for a very worthy program.
Pam attends seminars and workshops with speakers addressing all areas of dog behaviour and training on a regular basis to keep up to date with latest information in the dog training world as well as networking with trainers.
Her passion is to help owners to have well behaved puppies and dogs and to enjoy their time together.
Pam lives in Orange with her husband and three dogs, Cadbury, Bundi and Bono and enjoys reading movies and just relaxing with her own dogs.
